Our Process

All jobs begin with an initial, casual conversation. We sit with our clients and listen to exactly what they want, then, we design a plan to help them achieve it. Before we begin any work, we provide a proposal, budget, and a realistic timeline, along with options for materials and finishes to help our customers get exactly the look they want. Once we all are in agreement, we begin our work.

Often times we need a CAD drawing to create the project specifications. If so, we have the expertise to get that done. And if we need to bring in subcontractors such as electricians, plumbers or painters, we lean into our trusted network of proven tradesmen to help. We work with your city or town to obtain all the necessary permits. We negotiate the best price on all materials, then we create a schedule and plan all subcontractors. In general, we manage the entire process so our customers don’t have to worry about a thing.

Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs)

The Massachusetts Affordable Homes Act of 2024 amends the Zoning Act to allow Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADUs) up to 900 square feet to be built in single-family zoning districts. An ADU is a small residential living space located on the same lot as another home. ADUs can be internal within an existing primary residence, like converting a basement into an apartment. They can also be attached to a primary residence as a new construction addition. Finally, they can be completely detached, like a cottage or converted detached garage in a backyard.
